28 New Record Pages Added To Discography

by Mark Wieman on April 7, 2011

Roughly half of the records in the LSC-25XX set now have dedicated pages with high quality photos of front covers, back covers, and labels. See the Discography (LSC-2500 to LSC-2599) page for the goods. The second half of the set will be posted soon. Meantime, check out the interesting discussion about shrink wrap going on in the forum.

Happy listening!

Hi Mark,

I’m thrilled to find your site. As a fan, what can I do to help?

Best regards,

Hi, Durs! Thanks so much for your note! Great to hear you are a fan. My hope is to fill the site with good reference info and discussion threads. If you have an opinion or knowledge regarding a record, please share it here. If you know of others who may be interested in the site, please tell them about it! If you want to help with the discography itself, I’d love to discuss ideas. I’ll send you an email to follow up. Thanks again for your kind words and I look forward to talking to you soon!

Mark, I’ve just joined this group and, having long collected RCA shaded dog issues, find this to be a treasure. There are many cases in which, instead of the album cover, the listing merely says “coming soon”. Does this mean that you have the albums, but perhaps haven’t yet scanned them? Or would you be willing to accept contributions, ( I have a number of albums that are marked “coming soon”) and if so, what standards do you use for scan quality? Kind regards.

Hello, billinrio! Great to hear from you. Thanks for your inquiry. As of this writing, most of the “Coming Soon” records below LSC-2550 are indeed records I am looking for (I do have a good deal of the records above LSC-2550, but I am still in the process of adding them). If you own some of those that are currently missing, I’d love to discuss how we might arrange getting scans for them. I’ll follow up with you via email. Again, thanks much for the interest and kind words about the site. It’s wonderful to hear from people who find it useful!
