I think the one to own is the 10s10s pressing, I own the 1s1s and IMHO it isn’t as great as my 10s 10s. Both are superb, but the 10s10s has a slightly more diaphanous string tone and slightly (very slightly) better bottom end foundation, IMO.

Wow, I have the 3S/3S and thought it sounded good! I’ll be on the lookout for the 10s/10s. Some say the White Dog version of this one is the one to get. Ever heard it?

Mark, I have heard the White Dog. IMO, the 10s 10s is far superior. Frankly, IMO the 1s1s is also superior to the White Dog. With the White Dog, I hear a certain amount of grain in the string sections that i do NOT hear in either the 1s or the 10s shaded. I would agree that the White Dog is probably preferable to a 5s 5s shaded pressing etc,. BUT not by much, IMHO.
